About Us
At The Grove, we’re more than just a hotel, a motel, and a damn good cup of coffee—we’re a family. A weird, wonderful, hospitality-obsessed, high-fiving, Cool Kids kind of family.
This is where you get the inside scoop—the stories behind the Flynn and Lewis families, the wild ride that brought us all together, and the rockstar team that makes the magic happen every day. Think of this as our yearbook—minus the awkward school photos (unless you want those, in which case, we fully support it).
So, grab a seat, cue up the best playlist ever, and take a peek behind the curtain. This is who we are, what we stand for, and why we freaking love doing what we do.
Our Story: A Tale of Two Families, One Epic Vision
Like all great stories, ours involves a little fate, a lot of passion, and—of course—a good whiskey.
The Grove started as a bold idea in 2016: What if we built a hotel that wasn’t just a place to sleep, but a place to experience? No cookie-cutter vibes, no beige-on-beige décor—just personality, energy, and hospitality that makes people say, “Damn, that was fun.”
For years, the Flynn family ran the show, crafting a hotel and eventually a coffee shop with their signature mix of fun vibes, meticulous attention to detail, and an unapologetic love for making people feel at home. But this spot had a little more history brewing—literally.
The Grove Brewhouse originally called this place home, pouring craft beers and good times right here on site. But in 2021, the brewhouse moved to a new location, and the Flynns took over, bringing their hospitality magic to every corner of the space.
Then, over a whiskey (or maybe a few), they realized something: this ride would be even better with friends.
Enter The Lewis Family—longtime friends, fellow hospitality lovers, and just as committed to doing things differently. In 2023, we joined forces, blending our shared vision and drive to make The Grove bigger, bolder, and even more unforgettable… and, of course, adding The Grove Motel to the mix.
So here we are—still shaking things up, still keeping it cool, and still pouring one hell of an experience.
